Spanish-Flea says, 'yes, people gripe that druids still have the greatest advantage, and these changes do not do much to change that, is there any change to shove a proverbial crayon up those damn augmentor's noses any time soon?'

Sandra says, 'right now, we have no plans on changing augmenters. key words being 'right now''

LadyAce says, 'well, we avoided doing things that are boosty to them :) is a start!'

Reimbs for Useless Skills Too?

Ruby says, 'I want to question the skill reimbursal policy. Why not reimburse most skills when making changes like this? I think it would encourage people to play their chars longer. This would make the mud much more stable in terms of player base and poeple getting to know each other better'

Spanish-Flea nods his agreement with Ruby.

LadyAce says, 'I don't think we've 100% decided on the reimb strategy for this'

Sandra nods her agreement with LadyAce.

Sandra says, 'we haven't gotten that far ;)'

Spanish-Flea says, 'what do you take into account when you consider reimbs?'

Ruby says, 'well I want to vote for more skill reimb. And my vote should count as much as Kaige's!'

Sandra says, 'for things like the inspire change, we consider the skill, obviously, and any prereqs tha were needed'

LadyAce says, 'We usually take a look at what skills people won't be able to actually use because of a change, as a baseline'

Ruby says, 'I think it should be broader than skill prereqs'

Ea! says, 'We want to allow people to reimb stuff, but we don't want to over burden the admins and we don't want people to be able to reverse decisions they made about their character that aren't related to our changes.'

Kaige says to Ea!, 'and has to be codable in acts.'

LadyAce says, 'though automating them with ooc mobs helps with some of that'

Ruby says, 'what does a fighter do that wasted all his skill points on shipbuilding, fishing and such just because h e couldn't learn anything useful'

Spanish-Flea says, 'yes, but that's the same logic as saying that people with old eq are rewarded for being around longer'

Ruby says, 'it's to hard to keep up with the changes thoughout the years. most of my chars have 10 to 15 skills learn they haven't used since a change'

Spanish-Flea says, 'I mean an area worth maybe 300k-400k xp for every party member that is fully doable with a small party, because big parties are noticeably rarer'
