Madrita says, 'My question: When I create a doppel and I want to make her fully agg, I always type a "doppel command", in other words, first agg her, then have her jump or whatever... Hoewever, I always have to do this like 30 times before she actua'

Madrita says, 'And it doesn't matter if I just created her, or if it has been a while... Is there some sort of "skill lag" on orders to doppels or something??'

LadyAce says to Madrita, 'mobs take a certain amount of time before they're "listening" again. If you spam things in, they won't catch all of them.'

Custom Room Titles/Rooms for Housing?

Azeem says, 'what is the problem with changing roomtitles in houses.. like our new clan needs a resturant.. but it seems to me like this is imposible?'

LadyAce says, 'you can add your name to a room that is in the game, but you can't invent a room from scratch'

Azeem says, 'yea.. but why not ?'

LadyAce says, 'I don't think there are any areas with restaurant/cafe housing, but you could suggest it. Maybe use a Kitchen in the meanwhile.'

Kaige says, 'you can drop a note to the imm responsible for the area (see areainfo for who) and make a suggestion for what you want.'

LadyAce says, 'we don't allow it because we want to maintain the integrity of the housing -- we want it to fit into the game.'

Also, some of the builders will often have some feedback on suggestions and typos that get reported with some of their reasoning for why things are the way they are or won't be incorporated into the areas.

General Suggestions/Questions

o Use redeem points for special things like buying a single spell that the character can cast (like casting 'dream sending')

Redeem points will likely never be given for things that directly provide an in-game advantage. The idea behind having a set number of practice points is to encourage specialization among characters and make it more difficult for any single character to be a master of all trades. Providing more through redeems, removes the distinctions between characters in the long run. Along with that idea of specialization among characters, we try to limit the overlap between professions as much as we can so that non-mages who wish to have mage skills performed need to find a mage to do it and can't just do it themselves.

o There should be a list that you could add people to, it would alert you when they log in. The characters on your list will have to give permission to the player via some command to be added onto their list.

We don't have a list of who has logged onto the game to alert you because we don't want such a thing as many people consider it an invasion of their privacy. Also, by requiring people to accept being on the list and having a prompted question to be answered causes problems and could be used in unpleasant ways. If you have a client, you can use it to highlight character names or beep or give a message when you see them on channels, or in WHO or WHOSHORT.
