AA Healing Bug?

Sandman says, 'ok did yall look into the AA healing bug i reported?'

Sandman says, 'was wondering how thats working.. cuz it really sucks to not be able to heal when your aa to someone with a timer'

Sandman says, 'sorta.. its my AA surgeon'

Sandman says, 'he couldnt heal another AA player as long as they had a timer'

Sandman says, 'both my surgeon and the AA player had no rejects also..'

Kaige says, 'now if it's who I'm thinking of, his clan has a reject all, but it's an RP clan so that shouldn't matter, right?'

Ea! says, 'About 80% of the time it ends up being related to clan acceptances -- either their clan is accepting someone who isn't accepted or your clan has a reject that you're not expecting.'

Ea! says, 'The other 20% of the time, I'm still not sure what's going on...'

Rooting Rate Increases Over Time?

Sigrid says, 'oy ok, I was jus wonderin why regen rate while rootin doesn't increase as it says in the helpfile'

Sigrid says, 'well what I did was I sat down with lots of food and drink.. and started rooting, every 30 rl second I ate drank and reported, it was 12 hp and 9 mana regened every time'

Kaige says, 'have to rest to root'

Sandman says, 'i thought root was supposed to increase the regen the longer'

Kaige says, 'it gives a faster regen rate for as long as you're rooting, it doesn't increase the rooting rate over time.'

Sandman says, 'that would be something.. also with meditate the longer you do that the better the regen'

Ea! says, 'Er, now it is fixed.'

Sigrid says, 'the helpfile says 'You will accrue rooted regen rate as long as you remain rooted or until you reach the maximum rate. Within a preset limit, the longer you root the faster you will regain hp, mv, and ma.''

New Char Ban On My ISP?

ArchAngel says, 'yesterday when i restarted this char i asked snapper to find a imm who could set my exp to 1.. well after that happened i found myself unable to recreate.. i'd like to know the imm who did that for me yesterday so i will no longer rely on them for that sort of thing'

ArchAngel flops about helplessly.

Kaige says, 'huh?'

Kaige is completely boggled.

Darla says, 'but you did recreate...'

ArchAngel says, 'i found when i went to recreate that my isp was banned from create new chars... i wanna know who set that!'

Kaige nods her agreement with Darla.

Sigrid says, 'perma the hard way, if some imm gets spammed who cares? just turn anndeath off so I dont get spammed, much safer than relying on imms not to screw up'

Sigrid grins evilly.

LadyAce says, 'sometimes we ban ranges, when people's IPs are changing around, for example. We wouldn't necessarily know all about your situation. It's easy enough to fix the trouble, if that's all it is.'

Haley says, 'and basically, if someone in your household logs in a character, and starts fiddling around with it, possibly with you not even knowing, its still illegal'

Haley says, 'passwords need to be kept 100% confidential'

Haley says, 'and its easy for a little brother and sister to log in and do "WRONG" stuff without knowing the rules'

Krynn says, 'then I can't see how they can be held accountable if they didn't know'

Sandman says, 'either way i believed that it was illegal to get non pk healing with intentions to pk'

Darla says, 'why does it matter who was the last to heal him when he attacked you?'

Sandman says, 'the matter is.. the pker i thought under rules.. is not allowed to get healed by a non pker with intentions of pking'

Sigrid says, 'on the other hand, if the damage wasn't from pk, then why let him sit around for 10 minutes bored and then jump you?'
