Kaige says, 'well, help corpse does say "You should return to the room where you died as soon as possible to retrieve your equipment from your corpse." And havint the items stay owned for that long is rather generous.'

Peer says, '3 days, non?'

Kaige couldn't find any mention of how long in help corpse or help ownership.

Won always thought it was 3 days

Peer nods his agreement with Kaige.

Peer just heard a rumor'ish. or something.

Kaige later found the following: Archimedes died at nucklavee at Mon Jul 9 23:31:37 2001, corpse decayed and was unowned at 2001-07-10 00:59:23 and his equipment was unowned at 2001-07-12 00:00:18 so that was three days since he died. An hour and a half for corpse to day and then 2 days more for the eq to become unowned.

Ea! says, 'Everyone gets a chance to dodge, even if you don't have the skill. If you have the skill, you're much more likely to do it.'

Chaykin says, 'str would have AC, dex would have tumble/dodge, and con would have high hp'

Sandman says, 'AC to me dont even sound like dex or con or str.. it means your armor your wearing and in my mind also could be fixed to your spirit on how you feel..'

Peer says, 'how about just keeping ac on the side, leaving it to the eq?'

LadyAce says, 'there are a lot of ways we could change the way dex is called in the code, folks.'

Zandy says, 'or str should allow you to wear heavier armor. A better connection between weight and ac? An idea, not a porposal.'

Chaykin says to Kaige, 'logically, yes. but strictly from a gameplay standpoint, it makes things kinda unbalanced'

Kaige says, 'also we don't want all three to be identical, there should be balanced tradeoff you have to choose between'

Nepon says, 'this will seem a little off the wall but would it be possible to maybe set to where a character doesnt lose or gain xp? (as an individual character's option) this way they never have to worry about perma but they also can never redeem'
