Also, some of the builders will often have some feedback on suggestions and typos that get reported with some of their reasoning for why things are the way they are or won't be incorporated into the areas.

General Suggestions/Questions

o Why when I have high con, do I get stunned more often and for longer on double-stuns than a person with lower con?

It's really gonna depend what you're going against as well as how high your own constitution is whether you get stunned yourself. Also, it's completely random who gets a longer stun count if you double-stuns.

o There is a rumor going around that fighttype verbose supposedly causes less lag than compact... any truth to this at all?

Rufus says that from his tests, he couldn't really discern a quantifiable discrepancy between the two. They both went through the same bottleneck function. Fighttype NONE does radically reduce lag (but it's also rather disconcerting).

o Since affects are going to save over rent, perhaps merchants or innkeepers should sell bandages 24 hours, even if they're not normally open a particular hour?

You may want to explore more and note where you can already find things like this. There are 48 bandage sellers in the game: 15 in ancient, 24 in medieval, and 9 in industrial. Only 7 of these bandage sellers aren't open 24 hours.

o How about an escrow service mob for very large sales? I mean, currently someone has to 'trust' the other person first and give the payment or item, and hope the other doesn't run off without completing the transaction.

Short of a feedback system a la e-Bay or advogato, learning who to trust and who not to is difficult to code and should be part of the community. Yes, it sucks to be the one to get burned, but word of mouth reputations are the hardest to overcome... both good and bad. Write losers like that up on the news board, spread the word.

o Should <insert liquid source here> be allowed to be major poisoned, pkillers aren't the only ones that use it.

Some wells have a natural chance of poison, so it isn't always a case of pkillers. Gives reasons to have the ability to ASSESS POISON and to PURIFY, doesn't it?

o Why cant i repair my gold bracelet with a gold bracelet?

It could be an old one, which was flagged with the wrong material type. If you're not sure why mend and repair aren't working for an item with what you think is an appropriate material to fix it with, check them both with the APPRAISE skill (and soon IDENTIFY ITEM will also work) to see if it's mostly made of what you think it is.

o On the news board it states there are 4 appends for the post entitled 'looking for a grendel's head' when there are only 3 viewable appends.

This is a known issue. It will appear this way because of one of two things: it could be someone is still writing it or someone dropped link while appending. The reason it shows up as an extra append before one exists is there is a single file that tracks the author/title, post time and the number of appends that gets updated when the append command is issued, but can get out of synch when the above two conditions happen.

o Can we have a clan command that would allow you to view the information from a single clan. For example, in order to view the information about Wardens one could type Clans Wardens, rather than looking through clans all, or clans pk.

The CLANS command, with the syntax suggested, does just that when you use the keyword of an individual clan after it.

o While sleeping in the Tara area, occasionally there is a dream message that includes the sentence "The Sidhe who dwells here has no love of mortals." Seems like "Sidhe" in this sentence makes more sense as plural, not singular.

Sidhe is one of those strange words that is the same in both singular and plural form.

o Mending should give you a couple tries before it goes from slightly damaged to falling apart.

It really all depends on the item in question. An item that is more durable will take more damage and remain at the same condition longer. This is because the condition levels are reporting percentages of damage the item can take.
