Smokey says, 'lately there has been a low number in games. All there is, is Q&A now this month we have holloween can we plz get more games'

LadyAce says, 'sometimes I manage to do dishes :) maybe laundry. Usually, I just fall over dead in the evenings and sleep all weekend when it's fall.'

Barabas says, 'what about the idea of being able to use redeems to replace non-quest skills? Something that would take longer than perma'ing and remaking but still allow you to correct mistakes?'

Sandra says, 'I'd like to see redeeming be a bit harder before something like that went in, personally'

Also, some of the builders will often have some feedback on suggestions and typos that get reported with some of their reasoning for why things are the way they are or won't be incorporated into the areas.

Commonly Reported as Bugs, but Aren't

o Got the message "You can only make bandages out of cloth" when making it out of a "cloth" pouch.

As it says in HELP MAKE BANDAGE, "the cloth item (an ARMOR type object of material type CLOTH)", if you had a pouch that is a container, it's not ARMOR and therefore doesn't have a material type associated with it.

General Suggestions/Questions

o There is no way to gain honor against a non pk person here.. no arena.. no way to challenge someone who is non pk to a fight (arena) for all to see the outcome, esp if someone offends you in RP!!.. the one thing missing from here. it kinda binds you rp-wise to not have some sort of an arena. You can rp a disagreement, or hatred of eachother, but non pk people that RP do have differences with eachother. A way to settle this without loss is in an arena that there is no loss but honor... Please let me know how you feel about this, as I feel it is important to rp, and my enjoyment here.

That's one of the nice things about the PKOK system. You can get enabled at any time by an immortal and YOU decide who you're going to fight and you can agree to the terms before hand. As far as an arena that lets any one fight any time, it seems like such an artificial setting that would actually restrict RP moreso if you had to stop what you were doing to travel there when the PKOK system allows the whole world to be your arena.

o There are two priests in greece that seem to be annoying. Certain priests are more helpful and exact about what you need to sacrifice, but for some there's no hint of even the range of items that could be accepted in the mob, the room or anything. It's a simple sacrifice, so why does it seem like it's so complicated? Can things be made so that one step will at least lead to another?

This type of question is exactly the kind of thing that needs to be reported via the bug and idea channels so it can be looked into and addressed. This particular one has already been put into the todo list for Greece.

o If I don't see a pretitle I like, is there a way for me to have my own pretitle idea?

Yup. The idea channel is the best place to put any suggestions like that. LadyAce and the PR dept go through them once a year, usually before the Expies and the Mud's Birthday in February to pick out the suitable ones. The way pretitles work is they are all available to everyone.

o Any tips on tracking one whois? I mean .. once you get 50 or so, so hard to see if you get a new one or not .. etc ..

You could always copy the ones you have off into a file and periodically check against that list to see if it's changed. There isn't really an easy way for the code to know if you just got this whois string or that one, so we can't offer to put a star beside your newest one or anything like that.

o Why does Legend have DTs?

For basically the same reasons, we do not intend to ever have automapping, autolooting, aliases, or any other commands that permit players to not pay attention to the game as they play. They provide a level of risk and danger that should keep you on your toes. It also gives you something with a group of people after you've hit one.
