Additional Topics Answered

Also, as you'll find below, some of the builders will have some feedback on suggestions and typos that get reported with some of their reasoning for why things are the way they are or won't be incorporated into the areas.

Commonly Reported as Bugs but Aren't

o When I rented out, I lost two preserved augmented poultices.

Any poultice you make, augmented or not cannot be sold to/by shops or saved over renting.

o The repop/spawn on this item is way messed up. I killed the mob who owned it, took his key and locked the Altar. He came back, I killed him and took his new key and unlocked the container with his item. IT SHOULD BE there in it -- but it is not!

Resets can vary from mob to mob and item to item. Just because an item is associated with a mob or particular container, they don't have to reset at the same time. Also, opening/closing/locking/unlocking the container won't make objects that reset in them show up.

Likewise, mobs don't have to produce unlimited quanities of an item to sell it, but they must have at least one in their possession to produce them, which is why stealing from shopkeepers is a bad thing.

Common Typo Reports that Aren't

o In "East end of main road through Tripoli" in North Africa, Africa is spelled wrong in "The town is situated on the north coast of Libya and is an important port to the Afrika corps in the desert war."

It seems that English is one of the few languages that spells, Africa with a "c". The Afrika Corps were Rommel's command and as a German command are spelled correctly. "The British Eighth Army, after retreating hundreds of miles across Libya and Tunisia in the face of Rommel's Afrika Korps, suffered from a lack of morale and decisive leadership." Google's great for looking up all sorts of things.

o In the WWI area, Sgt Orr is spelled SSgt Orr.

This is a typical military abbreviation for Staff Sergeant.

Spell Ideas

o Lightning bolt should have to be in a storm when chain lightning has to be, its silly...

You have to remember the words the spells are based on. The first spell creates lightning from thin air, whereas the second pulls lightning from the sky. The second is also potentially more powerful too, so has more limitations placed upon its uses.

The larger groupboats are designed to have holds, single person boats aren't.

o How about haggis as a food item in Ancient Scotland?

Haggis became popular in the 18th century, so it'd be a bit out of place. It's refered to as Afronchemoyle in a cook book in 1390.
