LadyAce says, 'we do lots of testing, we simply don't see everything that players do once they get going on a new feature'

Kaige says, 'yes, and as we said last week some of the situations that would show the bug cannot be found by a couple of people on a testmud every time.'

LadyAce says, 'our time is really limited. we can spend 30 hrs testing a problem, or we can get 30 people's comments after an hour's playtime'

Kaige says, 'a couple of the problems came up when the spell guts were moved from the testing command to the spell itself to replace the old one.'

DeSade says, 'the players really are the best method for finding a bug, a player will use things in ways the imms don't think of'
