How about a belt attachment slot. i.e. Type: wear bag "you attach
a bag to your belt" ...of course when you rem belt the bag comes off
too going into your inventory. And you must have on a belt to wear it.
Large bags and the like wouldn't work but small pouches and bags would.
This will give everyone the chance to have a good eqed bag to hold
there most valuable items from thieves and keep their stat belts instead
of having to give it up for something like a belt pouch.
Just an idea

i think to implement that, we should look into calculating the
weight of equipment you are wearing as well. There must be some
consideration of strength when determining how quickly you can get
up after you take a fall, dexterity factors when you wear too much
for your strength, and constitution factors when you move around with
heavy gear. Not to prevent ppl from wearing eq because they're weak,
but at least some consequences... i mean, if you can barely wield a
dagger 2-handed, you can't expect to run around in MacLir's.
As far as the attachment thing goes, similar cases could be made for
guns and light sources, and since those that can't run around are
the likes like me (mages with low str, who likes to carry stuff) and
think it's fine... str needs some bonus here.
