This workshop took place on April 7th, 2001.

Sandra says, 'ok, looks like its a small group, so I'll just go ahead and get started =)'

Sandra says, 'i don't know how many of you were at my clan discussion a few months back, but I like tokeep these sorta an open forum, with little spam(please).'

Kaige says, 'yeah for 65% of the people online being pkok enabled.'

Phoenix says, 'is player kill similar to pk?'

Cirus nods solemnly.

Sandra says, 'I'm gonna start off with some numbers for you all to think about'

Chaykin says, 'Player Kill = PK :)'

P-Bliz winks suggestively at Vampyr.

P-Bliz laughs with amusement.

Sandra says, 'currently, there are 88 characters in pk clans'

Vampyr says, 'and one seeking :P'

Sandra says, 'out of those 88, 1 in 8 have never had a pk battle'

An aura of heavenly light appears above Boreas's head.

Sandra says, 'One of those is a GM'

Chaykin is completely boggled.

Sandra says to Vampyr, 'if you're in the clan, you do have the power to outcast the person, or complain to the gm?'

Vampyr nods solemnly.

Phoenix says, 'if i dont like the person i could perma them'

Ruby says to Sandra, 'so we outcast untill we don't have enough members to keep the clan?'

Craven says, 'but perhaps we should be "forced" to register our characters by giving a valid email, then, should you go inactive or whatever reason need to contacted...'

Peach1Guest says to Sandra, 'outcast the person tho and you get that much closer to the clan being demolished'

Boreas says, 'well, 1. I'd prefer to use pk only in combination with rp. And I love everybody, and my clan isn't in a war or anything at the moment'

Sandra says, 'if it's the gm, you have the power to vote someone else in'

Boreas says, 'well, I think that recruiting is an effort the entire clan should do.'

Ruby says, 'should just disintagrate all our clans that arn't active'

Yvonne says, 'On the other hand, how would clan members know offhand who in their clans fights or doesn't? I'm usually on at weird times, if I'm lucky there's usually one or maybe two other clanmates on. I honestly have no idea how often people fight'

Boreas says, 'it's partly my fault. I contribute to people not seeing my clan as a serious pk clan'

Peach1Guest says, 'its not the GMs fault that there are no real advantages to joining a PK clan'

Vampyr says, 'it's all the GM's fault :P clans should automatically be accepting other clans :P'

Craven was already playing, and has reconnected.

Ruby says, 'Junk all these little pk clans that have little or no activity/rp. Then reform into just a few big clans of all active people'

Vampyr says, 'and since they aren't the GM should accept all other pk clans automatically'

Sandra says to Peach1Guest, 'there are advantages, if you want to pk. Most pk clans accept each other. T hat's an advantage over being rogue.'

Rowane says, 'you should go a step further and code in who killed who, and when they did it'

Chaykin says, 'pk clans are automatically set to aa when they're formed btw'

P-Bliz says, 'I think a new solution needs to be found scrap the old idea=P'

Chaykin says to Rowane, 'plus that doesn't account for deaths by charmies or whatnot'

Craven says, 'theres no continuity, thats what I wish we could bring back'

Chaykin says, 'the way I see it, there are two groups of people playing this game that clash pretty dramatically and aren't very likely to get along no matter what you code'

Chaykin says, 'I've noticed that lots of people who are friends tend to all join the same clan, so you have a few clans that are loaded and a few struggling to get by. What if people joined opposing clans from their friends?'
