The LoP Process?

Masha says to Kaige, 'where do we find a list of people who are in the running for LoP?'

LadyAce says to Masha, 'they'll show up in polls when it gets to that point'

Haley nods her agreement with LadyAce.

Kaige says, 'Basically they get announced on the welcome board and in the polls as they come up.'

Adamar says, 'is there a LoP reject list?'

Adamar looks absentminded.

Haley says, 'its not announced if someone has even applied if they don't make it to the polls'

Masha says, 'I know I wouldn't make it to the polls'

Adamar says, 'do they get a second chance later if the first polling is not good enough?'

Haley says, 'you can always reapply if you feel you've done more with your char to become legandary etc.'

LadyAce says, 'LoP status tends to be for long-time chars, too, so if you're not get Legendary enough, you can always work on it :)'

Masha says to Haley, 'I doubt it. Most who have bad run ins with Imms generally don't make it through, according to someone who has applied before.'

Dae says, 'dusk was never fond with the imms and he made it to the polls'

Haley says to Masha, 'that's not true either, when the applicant comes in, they are evaluated on Legendary status and application at least from what I've seen thus far'

LadyAce says, 'I don't think we would want to laud and honor someone whose *sole and only* area of Legendary quality was their bad behavior...but no one is perfect.'

Haley says, 'and if they have had a few run-ins yet have a strong legendary status, I don't see how that would make them "unqualified"'

Adamar says, 'so there are only 18 lotp now (according to help files)'

LadyAce says, 'looks like it, or close to that anyway'

Masha says, 'a good example is a muck command known as 'page' which allows you to hold a private conversation with multiple people at the same time, but all still be private'

LadyAce says, 'wouldn't be hard to do it in a client'

Haley says, 'I think it gives more of a community feel by using the clan channel or all talking in a particular room together... just thinking RP wise etc...'
