I must first say that I agree with a LARGE portion of what Mr Morphine had to say, it is most certainly the players here who have made PK a very non-fun place for me. OK, I will stop whining just as I get started. Darkheart, I will choke as I say this, but you have some good ideas about how PKoK could be implemented, the exp penalties, etc. Now, about retirement, I can not remember who made the comment above, but I will agree that retiring is NOT easy, escpecially if you have (godforbid) made some enemies. (see previous comments by Morphine about forgiveness) Another comment was made about halfing the needed exp to retire, PLEASE that would certainly be appreciated, especially by us players who have not had a chance to learn the MUD well enough to effectively run (making getting eXP harder) and hide (don't have the practices left to learn it, or the rent space for the spam gear) I personally hope that if this PKoK is added, that those of us that have s long been trying to retire, would be offered a chance to opt out of PK at one time. I never wanted to do PK, I was forced into it by my then-GF for her reasons, and did not understand the full measure of what I would be facing. I enjoy a good duel (often with a pre-taunting from a sniper) but being jumped is not in my style for enjoyment. I don't like when it happens to me, and I don't enjoy doing it to others (see other posts I have made about snapping off my rocker) I am in favor of being able to choose who I do battle with and who not, especially if it costs me to remove people from my list. ok, nuff said thanks for listening, I hope I didn't whine too much this time, I know you are all sick of me hunbly, TheThing 2

I'm sure that the only reason you don't enjoy being jumped is that you're rarely prepared for it.. It can't be fun if you're constantly being jumped when low while concentrating on xp or eq.

thanks Pharku, that means a lot, and you are right, it is not fun at all
