Dipping arrows

Repeatedly firing dipped arrows can be quite frustrating no matter what the target, especially with dispel arrows killing sinks as long as they hit. How about making dipped arrows eat mana as you fire them, probably 50% of the casting cost of the spell, but instead have them hit a tad bit more reliably? Having characters with bowman or archer isn't ev funny since arrows never hit at that level -- even with deadeye and no weapon wielded I've found 8/41 hits or so, among those 8 a couple of them being flesh wounds. I don't need the damage increased, but seriously woul like to see them hit at least as often as kicks. Dh

first of all, Dh, your stupid. why would we want to make a sniper use mana? lets suppose this went in, thn it would be a legitimate bitch for snipers to say mages need 100 str to cast spells effectively. it makes no sense, and quite frankly, your an idiot. firing an arrow is what a smart sniper does, for two reasons 1- bows have stats, amazing concept there.. guns don't. 2- dip. now, lets look at dip. you get one effect of the vials spells, the first effect. yep, those nasty filmy's do a few more things than blind. and if the throw skill were worth using, many people would find out how good druids are. but anyway, does it cost a mage mana each time that mages sink goes off? hell no.. wouldn't that be the same thing as what you propose with dipped arrows? shooting an arrow is not a spell, it should, and does cost 0 mana. the vial that's dipped does cost mana, very little. if the vial isn't found. a more intelligent proposal would be to jerk all vials found where filmy's are found, and give us new improved herbs, some that blind, etc.. maybe then with that and fixing throw, we would see the true "best char type" in pk alot more. which of course is nothing but the tara druid. again, Dh, think before you open your idiotic mouth and propose such outrageous ideas that make no sense. Conspiracy- I hate stupid people.
