I'm not surprised someone who has been gone for a month would
have some major difficulty with these boards. As I checking in
every couple days find it hard to keep up also. Well not so
hard considering I don't read most things anymore.
Since Jean refuses to quit quoting, I suggest you do like I do
and just let them fly by the screen and not read them, also
even more importantly, don't reply to them. At least not if they
have quotes in them. This is the easiest way to make Jean change
his ways. A little positive negative reinforcement, which means
reply if theres no quoting and you feel the urge.
Also whats up with posting from notes? How long has this been
implemented? If everyone continues to feed the troll, it seems
the second best way to stop this would be to make it so you can't
cut and paste from notes. Hehe, maybe a level limit can be put
on posting from notes.
Remember don't feed the troll!

posting from notes has been around as long as i can remember posting,
and was most often used, at least for me, when posting clan apps on
clan boards.

I find posting from notes to be really, really useful when writing
long-ish posts, because for one thing, a copy of the note stays
in your inventory. Many a time have I had to rewrite something
because the board ate it, many a time I have been thankful I remembered
to use a piece of paper instead of writing straight on the board.
