In my last board post, i extolled the virtues of Wusss
solution to the irritation that my quotes cause some
people here.
Id like to take that suggestion one step further,
however- to have the ability to gag a person
-everywhere-, not just in tells- in channels, boards, etc.
Each selective- so to gag a person tell, youd type tgag
person and to ban me in chattype channels like info
and chat, youd type cgag person or to gag a person in
boards, youd type bgag person. or say you dont want
to listen to a persons says, then sgag person. or yells
ygag person or emote egag person or even arrivals
argag person, departures dgag person, looks lgag
person or even when the persons name is mentioned
by someone else sgag person- that one would be
fairly dangerous, if, say, they were called a fairly
famliar word, but if you -really- cant stand the sight of
the word, then, well.. there you go :-). Finally, if youd
just like to gag the person in all situations, just type
agag person to just block all channels, acgag person
to block everything but a string the the name of the
person in it and aagag to block absolutely everything
containing that name- the choices could be toggled
thusly- if you typed, say, bgag person and then
wanted to block them out completely, youd just type
aagag person and itd be done. Now -thats- what id
call a solution :-).
