Jean. You wonder why so many of your ideas are so poorly received?
I'll try to lay it out for you.
1) Ignorance is only excusable for a little while. You've been
here for 100 hours already? That's more time than I've put in
on my current pkiller, and he's L38. And believe it or not, I've
spent a lot more time hanging out and talking than I have getting
xp. The point is, you've been here long enough that you should
know better than to suggest some of your ideas.
2) You refuse to listen to other people except when they support
you. You say that people have stopped replying to your posts
(I'm not sure why I haven't yet), well, it's probably because
they know you're not going to listen. Protest all you like, but
I bet there's no one here who actually thinks you've seriously
listened to a word they've said. I mean, hell, you've gone so
far as to disobey an order from the Head Admin. Now that's
-seriously- not listening.
3) Your holier-than-thou attitude. You're better than all of us.
You're more moral, you're a better socializer, you're better at
helping newbies than us (than the GM of the NPH, even!), and
I bet if we got into it, you'd tell us your breath is fresher, too.
You're a visionary! Your ideas are waaaaay better than anyone else's
just 'cuz that's the kind of guy you are. We're all too
hypocritical and entrenched in our ways to give your wonderful,
prophetic ideas a chance.
And yes, that was sarcasm.
You may be seeing the worst in the citizens of Legend right now,
but that's because you're bringing the worst out in us. And I
know you'll probably argue that I'm just saying that because
I'm secretly terrified of your powerful sexual mojo, but you know,
at this point, I don't care what you think anymore. And for that,
you only have yourself to blame.

I agree with Deirdre. Your ideas are being poorly received and you
are seeing the worst side of many Legendites, because you are
bringing it out of us.

Or so youd like to think. Im currently level 6 and have
no plans of levelling up until a fwe things happen- first,

if that were the case, i would have replied to almost no
posts at all, considering the fact that almost all of you
here dont support me :-p.
that was actually an outdated message- at that point in
time, people really -had- stopped- but then other
people came on monday and things resumed.

Sigh. Like others on here, you confuse not agreeing and,
in the case of Sandra, not obeying an order with not
listening. Not only did i hear what she said, but i
responded to her post, itemizing the reasons why i
thought the freedom to quote in my posts was so
important that id risk being banned for it.

well, i may make a few good friends, but clearly im not
good at socializing with the general population as a
whole.. or atleast until now :-p. maybe im wrong, but
by the time you finish reading this post, i might have
made one (still sceptical, im sure :-p) friend.. maybe
not, i dont know you well enough, but heres to hoping.
I never said this at all. the truth of the matter is,
almost -anyone- is better at helping newbies then i
am- i mean, think about it, i -am- still pretty much a
newbie :-p. Youd be closer to the mark if you said that
I think i -would- help newbies more if i could. Note,
however, that i only named one person that didnt
seem to be very keen on helping newbies (Cyanide). In
the case of the GM of the NPH, i said that -if- he didnt
help newbies that much then he wouldnt be a good GM
of the NPH. I was then told that he indeed -does- help
quite a bit, whereupon i said that my remark was
really more of a question designed to get him to tell me
if, indeed, he didnt help newbies much for real or if
that was just a misunderstanding on my part. There are
also a fair amount of great newbie helpers that, in my
wish to bring to light the fact that there seemed to be a
fair amount of people who -didnt- help out newbies
much, i didnt mention. This was probably a mistake on
my part. In any case, in trying to make up for it now,
Id like to say that Sibwarra and Mice has been most
helpful to me.. There were many others, including
people, like Slayer, that -would- have helped me gain
xp, only i was too busy talking :-p.

lol :-). god, youve got a good sense of humour :-). i love
hearing these types of things, because besides being a
great laugh :-), it can show where i perhaps havent
been clear enough- as to my ideas; i dont know how
much better they are then the average joes, but i think
most people think that their ideas are better then their
next door neighbours- otherwise, theyd adobt the
ideas of their neighbours :-). As for everyone being too
hypocritical and entrenched.. chuckle :-).. i dont believe
that either. I know, i wrote a -post- titled hypocrisy
and avoidance, but it was written at a time when it
seemed everyone was just going to ignore me and it
was posted at a time when it seemed i was going to be
forever ostracized simply because i quote (that ones
coming close to be true it seems :-p). I havent been
keeping score on how my views sway one way and the
other, but i -definitely- dont feel as adamant about all
that as i did before- people like you make me feel that,
indeed, there -are- people who are intelligent enough
to realize that theres more to life then the fact that i
quote :-p. As for the entrenched bit, again, i thought so,
and maybe i still think so- it depends on how im dealt
with, really- whether ill be denied access to this board
just because of my quotes or not, say. As for my
prophetic ideas, well, you never know, lol :-). more then
anything, i love playing with words, ideas and people in
a sense (oh great, now unfrozens going to start up with
his youre too immature thing im sure :-p). I just
want to have fun like everyone else is what i mean- i
-love- words and have been playing with them since i
was quite young- first primarily just reading them and
then, as i grew older, writing them quite a bit. I like to
think im a good writer with good ideas; i hope that one
day youll agree with me.

I dont think thats the case- i think its more like a put
a fair amount of pressure on Legend for change and got
the aches and groans that comes when pressure is ever
applied. Make no mistake, dont think this was easy for
me. In doing this, after the initial good will associated
with oh, hes just a newbie, hell settle soon, i was
soon bombarded with complaints left and right, along
with the threat of losing legend completely. whatever
happens though, its worth all my suffering and more
just to see someone of your intelligence write to me.
chuckle :-). i know where the terrified idea is coming
from, he :-), but i dont know what mojo means.. only
time i heard of the word is in Mojo, bad guy in the
marvel universe and noted adversary of the x-men :-p.
Ok, this is where is one of the first times im going to
level with an opponent of mine- ive made some
mistakes, ok? Im not perfect. heres to hoping that this
post has cleared up atleast some of them. and heres to
hoping that future posts of mine will clear up the rest.
