I feel that dex shouldn't have to be included with perc and
str in order to be effective. This limits dex chars to
those that can't use magic because of the difficulty of having to have
the min requirements for a good backst and magic, as well as enough str to
do at least over 15 damage a round.
Just my thoughts. Feel free to comment.

well, to begin with, I think it's safe to say that
any mage can do better than 15 damage per round, but not until the
higher levels of course, that's just common sense. and I'd
also like to mention that I've seen several dex mages
do extremly well in the pk scene.
but what you are asking for is stats that aren't possible.
you never have a mage with an overpowering backstab, because that
in itself would be overpowering. imagine an 87 damage BS (damcap
I think) followed by a high level 100 mind immolate of firestorm, etc..
I think you get the picture, that alone would take half of my HP's away.
mages need wierd stats to cast spells, and it's that way for a
good reason, thogh I do think there should be a bigger jump in
the amount of mind you need from 2nd circle to 3rd circle.
but then again, I think you should need at -least- 70 mind
to be able to cast a third circle spell to begin with.
but again, that's only my opinion and I'm not an immortal who makes
such decisions.
and I still think there should be a smaller version of meditate,
for the lower level _pure_ mages who want to learn all their spells
before they get skills like kick, headbutt, basic/advanced weapons..
etc.. it seems (to me) way to hard to get from 15-25. granted
this char is dex/perc, but ICan get a sniper to 20 in no time.
heh, try that with a mage, it's impossible. I have a cause mage
I'm working on now that has a little over 100 hours, and is still
level 16, and I don't socialize with that char much at all.
anyway, I'm done babbling, for now.
