Just wondering why it was changed so weaken and other such
spells were changed so the effect is 'removed' with another
such as strength rather than having both spells counter each
other. It seems a bit unbalancing that those who rely on
strength being at a certain level aren't affected as much as
others who rely on their mind and dex. Even more so when
spells save over renting.

I personally like it better this way (except when fighting the vampire
and stuff) since it makes certain weapons more fun to use and stuff.
Also, if you don't build your char around the str spell, it doesn't
disadvantage your char any more than dex/min...

Yeah it does, cause mages need only recast strength, they used
to have to quaff a dispel or rent or wait it out like others.
