More semi-bright ideas

1. More perma lights, say for other slots at less rent than the 3 we have

2. A low rent +5stat shield (medium AC for the slot).

3. A trueform-ing mob (like the repair mob in you know where).

4. A preserving mob (like you know who -- see #3).

5. Since blind has been weakened (while ago) what about bringing back a blinding weapon (dagger/staff/sword)? Just make it go off say ten percent (as opposed to 30). And, say you could set up up Q5 with max damage for the type, but no stat/hit/dam bonus...

6. Change the small gold pyamid to be +5 to a stat also.

7. Change the Luckstone to be comparable to Hernes horn.

8. Change the gold figurine to be comparabe to Hernes horn (3hit/3dam?).

9. Make ALL, yeah I said ALL, tunics mendable.

10. While your at it, make this lame tunic of flame more sturdy? -duck-

11. SUbmit backstab damage to the PK damcap... yeah flame away snipers!

12. Make elbow stun (1 round only) instead of disorient?

13. How about a +5dex "on body" item?

14. Make the Skyblade more up to par with Vlads and Demon claw -- I was thinking 14kg 15max dam same stat bonus as now, but add something else.

15. How about letting the mark command work on boats?

There will be some going in, eventually, they're in areas in progress. Perm light sources have a fixed rent min of like 2750 or so so you're probably not going to see them much lower.

Again, I'd like to leave this for incoming areas rather than modify current areas.

3. A trueform-ing mob (like the repair mob in you know where).

These will be going in shortly, some with new areas, some in old ones.

Maybe, maybe not. I haven't decided on this one yet. I don't want to completely eliminate player mages.

Maybe... blind is still very powerful (it's like putting a few curse spells, a bend armor spell, and part of disorient on one object)

Due to its relative ease to get (it's for sale, and items for sale have more stringent stat guidelines) this will not happen.

7. Change the Luckstone to be comparable to Hernes horn.

I would again, rather wait for this to be applied to new areas. This 'stone' has already been upgraded 5 times since I've been on legend, so the liklihood of it getting any more boosts is probably next to none. Look for some of the warlord's other items to get some modifications, however.

9. Make ALL, yeah I said ALL, tunics mendable.

Some cannot logically justify their stat bonuses. Therefore, they are magical and will be trueform only. Again, much of that decision is up to the builder, but I'm going to make no fast rule that says that all tunics cannot be magical.

If you don't like it, don't wear it. =) Part of the low rent of that object is that it is so flimsy.

Actually, this needs to be done across the board for all skills and spells. It's just really time consuming, mind numbing work.

12. Make elbow stun (1 round only) instead of disorient?

Elbow was designed to add flavor to the combat system, not duplicate other skills. The chance to disorient was increased slightly and might need to be done moreso, however, elbow will likely never get a duplicate of another attack type.

13. How about a +5dex "on body" item?

Again, I would rather leave this up to incoming areas rather than immediately drop them in.

Actually, there's a new spell affect (unchantable) that I'm thinking of adding to the skyblade. I need to do some more testing, but it should increase the worth of the item.

Low-priority but feasable.
