Seems from recent fights and tests that even a cruddy low
mind sink stops almost every dip 'special' from going through.
this seems to me to overpwoer sink vs. dip too much, and to give
an advantage to mages who never have to worry about dip (fighters
cant sink themselves) and also the fact that it ADDS back to mana
from all appearances, kind of buggy. seems like a middling ground
could be found since sink rarely stops every spell a way
to make dips reflect the spr of the brewer/potion vs the cast
lvl and mind of the caster. Or since the main controversy atm
is over blind, just rewrite blind to last one full tick, or better
yet a timer similar to headbutt. mages already have hug stat bonuses
over a fighter as is with idiocy screwing you or requiring
35 useless mind, and the str spell, and no need for a
cure potion or worry about losing expert weaponry.
It may just be a long run of bad luck, but to me it seems dip
shouldnt go through every time but a 100 spr brew
should penetrate a 100 mind lvl 47 sink at least half the time.
