I saw a cool little thing this RP enforced mud had. And I was wondering
if Legend can eventually support it as well.
Command - direction (message)
Output - direction message
Example
down (climbing carefully on a ladder)
Ist leaves down climbing carefully on a ladder.
And I was thinking, maybe it will also tied into moods too...

As neat of an idea as that is I believe it would end
up being abused in the nastiest possible ways. On a
RP true RP mud/mush that would work because
by it's very nature the immature types don't stick
around long. Here .. well they stick around and thrive
in our mixed culture world.
From a code point of view, ya'all don't like lag much right now
right? wwell the function responsible for moving people
from one room to another is already so full it might lag teh mud
when a lot of people move all at once. This would have to go in
there too....

Another option would be to use idea to suggest all your cool
thoughts about moods/movements/socials -- that creates a
database for everyone to draw upon. It's not as purely customized,
but it can be very immersive. It's so great to type the mood
you're wanting to express or the way you're wanting to move or
whatnot and have it "just work". As much as I understand the
appeal of making things purely custom, I also think there's
some great value in the strategy we have. And with emotes
and the emote-to commands mixed in, maybe a zip or two...well, it
can be a pretty lush environment.
Anyway, I'd say we've approached the problem in a slightly different
way and we do operate under some different constraints, but I hope
you'll send in your ideas to supplement our strategy.
