Ok.. after messing around with various guns.. in pk.. vs certain
dex character.. I've noticed a very sad fact..
One handed guns, most ave 6-8 max 12-15.. do about the same damage
as 2 handed guns being held.. note quickdraw on the one handers..
What is the pay off for a 2 handed gun? If snipe is based off of
accuracy of the gun and mainly stat rolls.. and what I hear.. no
extra factors of a particular gun.. the payoff seems to be.. uh..
maybe 2-5 more damage? Hell, even a 1 handed gun gets my vote
for best stunning gun, then again, thats all roll based to I hear
and not the particular gun.. and if that's the case.. why not
particular guns have an extra factor of stun % snipe %?
Either way I look at it.. 2 handed guns are just pathetic right now.
Can we do anything with them to make them in one way or another more
usefull than a 1 handed gun? please?

Did I mention the kick skill does more damage than a shot with
similar lag? not including reload time...

Shooting is better than kicking, for the slight chance of bash or stun effect, but
ect, but yeah, 2 hand guns are kinda lame, so far as I can tell, having tried most
ied most of the guns around here in the past 5 years. I like an increased
stun % and snipe % for 2-handers. it makes since, since a rifle is far more likely
likely to result in a snipe-shot than, say, a .45 caliber pistol. For example.

Yes I know guns have the chance to stun, disecting this.. stunning
shots really don't last that long.. and sometimes last 2-3 mud minutes.
This does however give a chance to backstab said victim again..
Yes, also, guns have the chance to sprawl, which is countered if you
have autorush on you auto-stand.. now its affective when in the same
room, but otherwise autorush makes it just a neat looking msg..
With all these nice fun chances of things happening while using
projectile weapons.. snipe being the most popular on fun factor..
It's not like you see players with 80% snipe rate. I've had my good
days and my bad days at trying to snipe.. and on my best days I still
am below 45% chance on sniping.
All this said.. yeah guns are nice, have neat things, cant really
compare them to skills/spells etc.. but.. 2handed guns/bows.. doing
hardly any more damage for a 1hander.. plus you MUST hold it... losing
a slot, mostly heavier ammo, more rent.. all i really ask is can
we get a little something special with 2 handed guns/bows.. be it damage
a stun ratio.. a snipe ratio dependant on the gun itself etc.. anything
that makes a 2handed gun/bow stand out from a low rent quickdrawing gun
that is just as affective..
maybe quickdraw is overpowered.. something tho somewhere i feel should
be looked at long and hard.. and i know balance issues are big on this..
I'm not wanting any miracle changes asap.. I rather just see discussions..
and imms feelings and possible plans for furture guns.. perhaps plans
on new balance standard for 2 handed.. or above suggestions..
please do comment though I would like to hear how you the imms feel
about this sensitive balance debate and trying to make those crafted
well done 2 handed guns, put in circulation.

First, I wouldn't compare 2handed guns to bows. Bows have dipped
arrows. That's plenty.
As for 2handed guns, right now, they do more damage than single-
handed ones. And that won't change. We have no current plans,
as far as the builder side of the weapons, to change them. This
may change in the future, but it won't right now.

Well I hope you don't change 2 handed doing more damage than 1..
but like I posted in the first msg.. 2-5 more damage.. is that
a real payoff? Don't certain extra attack eq do more than that?
Payoff being damage for the slot used.. I've seen extra attack
eq rip fairly often.. and if I'm thinking right.. thats a bit
more than 2-5 damage off of a rip..
As for dip, I'll just say what I've always said about that..
dumb to have such a powerful skill, yet it not be a skill..
I dunno.. just hope this is looked at and 2 handers, guns, are seen
the way some of us see them.. or maybe all of us..
