anyway, not going into the obviously over-powering nature of this
change, but what about the CREATE version of this spell, Wall of Thorns?
should this not also be castable whilest in combat?

The lag wasn't as long as we had originally planned, expect
to see that increase slightly. As for the wall of thorns,
you're correct, expect to see similar behavior for that spell.

Ok, now I can see the changes and tweakings for mages and their spells

lock e many ways they do over shadow other classes, but WHEN are the other
classes going to receive the same attentions? And PLEASE dont say they
have been..when was the last time skills where tweaked for con or str
fighters? Dexies and the backstab tweaks were stupid, it totally screwed
low leveled dexies and their leveling abilities because they dont hit
for squat.

I agree with Fortebraccio that it is part of being
a clan to stick together and help your clanmates if you
want and they request it. If people dont like getting packed
by Grendels, stop complaining, and reject. If you don't like
someones fight style, there is nothing saying you have to fight them.
I know its frustrating when you have 3 people jump on you
when you have 300 hps... but if you dont think it was
fun for you, do it back! Stimulate the PK guys, don't complain about it.
