who thinks poulticing, as it currently is, is bad for PK?
feel free to add reasons why you feel the way you do...

i think poultice _IS_ bad for pk, and here's why:
-for a nominal stat investment you can heal 60 hp for 35 mana
-using a chalice, katar and some quick typing, you can heal
almost unlimitedly (assuming you have herbs)
-its too easy to use in safe and/or one person rooms
suggestions:
-the "use poultice " command should not work if your in
a no_fight room, or a one_person room
-if poultice is changed, please re-imb practices

Please keep in mind that to have poultice/augment
and be good enough to heal yourself decently, you
are already sacrificing stats elsewhere and to
keep a proper stock of herbs (which are renty!) let
alone a chalice, you might be lacking 'decent' eq,
hit/dam, etc to be able to rent a chalice and herbs and
the strength to carry those and bandages...
If you are refering to battle-druids, they sacrifice
to be able to have that ability.

I don't know how to fix it other then like making augment require more
time to make, maybe last an extra tick or 2 to compensate, and requiring
80 spirit for augment. Snipers require 80 perc, the best fight skills
require 80, I think augment should as well. So should tumble for that
matter and a ton of other really useful skills that are obtained with
very little sacrifice.
And on that note, battledruids do not sacrifice much at all. I have a
sniper who has full sniping capabilities AND augment, with 94 dex, which
is more then enough to backstab, shoot, kick, flee, tumble, etc. The
requirements for augment are a joke compared to the gain, and it would
be very interesting to see this changed.
As for full druids, I applaud them. If you have 100 spirit, you ARE
giving up enough stat points in other areas to deserve the gain. But
60 just isn't enough. Especially since the requirement for augmenting
just happens to work out well for being a mage as well.
- Craven, who has just about any char type you can imagine, so any changes
will affect me. I just hope they are for the better.
