Clan idea. (revised)

Well, some of you have heard parts of my grumblings about the current boredom of clans. Some of you also heard my thought about adding (if even possible) Stuff like secret doors, agg guards (like gargoyles), and other little stuff to spice up the current halls. I has said that since it wouldn't be right for these to be available upon request, a point system should be worked out. My first thought was a 'good deads' type of system. You run a re-eq, and an imm sees it, you get a point. This is a bit of a slipper slope, so forget that idea. Currently, I am thinking that certain decided upon mobs and quest could be established, and when a clanmember lands the killing blow or completes the quest, a flag is given to the clan he belongs to. The clan could then accumulate these, and 'spend' them on a set list of 'prizes'. (super neato funiture, above ideas, etc.) There are some rough spots (like what happens when a player abandons the clan) which to be honest, I have no wish to work out. Better left to someone who knows what the code requires, but if necessary for this idea to be considered, I'll work out the details. At any rate, I'm posting this to give people something to consider. Append with thoughts, fears, hates, turn ons, etc. -Ryan Tarrant.

The person you have killed is placed in your trophy list. Other people could then see who you have killed. ie. would allow anyone to view who I have killed. Would add some spice to pkill, i know how much most of you people love those silly lil quest whois... -shrug- why not a trophy list for kills.

I cant even pick doors anymore...sometimes on the 8th or 10th try I manage to pick a lock that doesnt even have the 100/100/100 sentances... give me a break, you dont need guards, hardly anyone can get into the halls anyway...they're as good as safe rooms. They should be lessened unloc e op e e close w loc w my opinion... bleh alias..sorry...in my opinion

Beyond that, I -really- worry about any system which adds even more arbitrary/subjective measurements to the game -- imms get enough flak about bias as it is, and put in a lot of time simply to be as fair as possible with descs and warnings...I would hate to add to that load. -LA
