Too many create spells are illusions. A second circle mage fighting
a 3c create can, for 30 mana, be immune to several different spells
for a rather long time (to say nothing of mobs with det. illusion).
How about changing some of these so that they aren't illusions?
Doppels and stone walls should stay illusions, they'd be too
'powerful otherwise. But flame walls and fog walls might actually
be useful if they weren't illusions... plus would have the drawback
of possibly affecting the caster. It might also be neat if wall of fog
afflicted anyone passing through it with elbow, for very short
duration. (By the way, the current help files indicate the spell
affects the room, rather than the individual exit at which it is cast.)
Armor of light and magic shield.... why do these have to be
illusions? Seems kind of unfair that cause armor takes no wear slot
at all, and works regardless of what you can detect.
One other idea while I'm at it... rainbow bridge: Make this a timed
no preserve climb tool that doesn't require the skill... and of course
can't be moved (too heavy, or whatever).
