OOC/innkeepers

Given that we can only go OOC at innkeepers now (no matter our pk-status) would it be possible to have the innkeeper flag set on the room, rather than on the mob. Several times in the last week, I've gone to Stag to go OOC to find that Richard is dead. Perhaps inn rooms could be like the Hospital in St Denis - one can rent there, or go OOC, and there's no innkeeper in sight. Kyna

From: Sandra Sunday, June 25, 06:40AM Many inns, the hospital included, have immortal innkeepers. There are at least 3 in medieval alone, not to mention higher level, hard to kill, nonimmortal innkeepers to use as well.

From: Rosette Thursday, June 29, 02:06PM Why can't we go ooc at rentable rooms in houses? The function just like inns don't they? Rosette Milano

From: Kae Monday, July 03, 06:02AM Not code-wise. Going ooc involves a mob, whether invisible or available to interact with. There are no such ooc-doing mobs in housing rentable rooms. -Kae

From: BigFool Monday, July 03, 10:52AM As far as I understand, it's not a mob in the room you are in, it's Paul :) And if he can check if you are at an innkeeper's, he should be able to check if the room has a rent flag I think? But then I am not a coder, so I could be totally wrong, and that not -only- because of my name, hehe :)

From: Drakkon Tuesday, July 04, 09:59AM I was told every time you go ooc, you leave a marker from where you went ooc so that you can get back there again. So you should be able to go ooc at a rent room if the innkeeper is dead :P Dunno what i'm talking about, it's early for me
