I am not happy with the OOC changes.
My most frequent use of OOC is when I have to drop link in a hurry,
like when unexpected visitors drop in.
There are times when I have been rude to my visitors, and run to an
inn, only to find the innkeeper dead. If I'm in a hurry, and the
innkeeper I run to is dead, I can't rent and I can't go OOC.
Most of chars are mages, and chalice users. If I'm in a rush, and
just drop link, my HP/Mana/Mv don't regen (fair enough since I'm not
really in the game), but my chalice still ticks down. How can I
not be in the game, yet something in my inv still be in the game.
As I said, I'm not happy with the OOC changes. If timed items didn't
tick down once I dropped link, I wouldn't mind the changes at all.
Or maybe innkeepers could be made unkillable - or maybe it could be
possible to rent or go OOC from the innkeepers room, even if the innkeeper
was dead.

I, personally, love the OOC change. It puts a stop
to people abusing OOC whenever something doesn't
go their way. For instance, I once volunteered for a South PD
run without getting any info on the leader. It was foolish,
yes, but I like to give people the benefit of the doubt.
Once we killed the mob that had whatever EQ the leader wanted,
he took his EQ THEN told us that he didn't know the way out.
After a pitiful (2 minutes of searching the same rooms over
and over again) search for the exit, he told everyone to go OOC
and drop link, then did so himself. Luckily for me, most
of our group had more spirit then that, I located a recall room
and our frienly cause mage got everyone out of there. This was
a blatant abuse of the OOC lounge and I'm glad that it will
no longer be allowed.
If you have guests and must leave the game, just drop link
and take your chances. Remember, this is only a game.

Items continuing to tick down despite you being LD does indeed sound
like a bug to me. I'll put it in via the bug command, in case
no one else has.
